Weimar M7, a name probably unfamiliar to anyone! And as always, the strange names of the automotive world go back to the endless land of China! Weimar Motors is the name of a Chinese automobile company that has just started its work. This product is basically the fifth car of this company and today we will introduce it at IR-LuxeCars.
Weimar introduced the M7 at the Beijing Motor Show last year, where we see a lot of weird Chinese that are not so weird when it comes to mass production! But the M7 is also impressive in the actual production version! The design of the front of the car is similar to Korean products and it is difficult to understand its Chinese nationality.
There is no such thing as a windshield in the front of the car, but there are small air inlets for air circulation in the batteries. The door handles are not visible in the side view, and this car probably uses hidden handles to get out of place only when needed. The rear view of the M7 is designed like a fastback car, and this design model, along with its continuous and elongated headlights, give a beautiful look to the rear view of this car.
Contrary to the body design, we do not see a strange design inside the Weimar M7. A large monitor, a minimal dashboard and a small number of keys are all that can be found inside this model. In the rear view, this car has very ordinary seats and the rear passengers have only one pleasure, and that is the very large rear monitors!
But aside from all this, the reason this model is special is something else. Weimar and his R&D team have been working on a self-driving car for a long time. There are several cameras and sensors around the body of the Weimar m7 that can move the car from point a to point b without the need for a driver! Weimar claims that this car can travel up to 700 km on a single charge, without a driver!
