German tuning company Mansory, known for its extensive and sometimes controversial modifications to luxury cars, has taken on the Tesla Cybertruck with a special edition called the Elongation. The name may be a nod to Elon Musk or just a play on words. But what's sure to grab everyone's attention is its controversial and different design.
Appearance changes; from carbon fiber to lighting details
The Cybertruck is already a futuristic and special car, but Mansory has decided to make its appearance even more radical. In this version, a lot of carbon fiber has been added to the body, and the front and rear bumpers have been completely changed. At the front, larger air intakes, new fins, and a diffuser have been designed, which make the car look more muscular. The front and rear fenders have also been widened, and their overall design has a subtle and modern look. In addition, the car’s hood also has carbon fiber vents, and even the C-pillars have faux air intakes. At the rear, a small carbon fiber fin has been installed, which seems to be a signature of Mansory’s design on many of its cars. There is also a new diffuser in the lower part of the rear bumper, which helps with the car’s aerodynamics.
One of the interesting features of this version is the use of lighting in some of the carbon fiber components. At the front, a carbon fiber panel displays the illuminated Mansory logo. At the rear, a light strip is located inside the carbon fiber piece above the trunk, which creates a special effect at night. Also, an LED strip is installed above the windshield, which has led to a more modern and advanced look. The wheels of this version have also changed. Mansory has used 26-inch rims with a carbon fiber design, which, together with wide tires, give the Cybertruck a completely different look.
Interior; different color combinations and custom details
Mansory has not only changed the exterior, but has also redesigned the Cybertruck's cabin. The interior has a combination of gray, white and yellow colors, which can be seen in areas such as stitching and seat badges. The leather inside the cabin has an irregular hole pattern that gives the car a special design, and the Mansory logo is engraved in various parts of it. Other changes include carbon fiber pedals and custom footrests. Mansory has announced that, like many of its products, it has also provided further customization options for buyers of this version. So those who want to have a more special Cybertruck can place special orders for the interior and exterior design of their car.
Will this version find fans?
Mansory has always been controversial with its designs, and this version of the Tesla Cybertruck is sure to draw mixed reviews. Some might love the changes, while others might find them overdone. The real question is: would anyone actually buy a Cybertruck like this? Maybe only die-hard Mansory fans and those looking to grab attention on the streets would want one!
