Its front end is very similar to the E-Class model. Just as attractive, just as rough and just as handsome! Favorable appearance with that big Benz logo in the middle of the windshield and lights that are very harmonious with the bumper and windshield and part of the hood that shows the art of Mercedes-Benz designers. In the side view, you see the same oval shape that you should expect.
One of the things that makes this coupe attractive is the lack of frames for car windows. When we get to the rear view of the car, we just understand what a masterpiece Benz has created. Incredibly beautiful headlights that are unmatched anywhere, at least the design of this headlight for 2015 was so attractive to customers that they no longer think of any car other than the Benz CLA 200. Of course, it should be noted that the rear view of the CLA It is very similar to the rear view of the CLS, and from the point of view of the IR Luxury test team, the CLA is actually a CLS kid.
Now it’s time to sit in the car. Before we explain the interior of the car to you, let me point out that whenever the name Benz is mentioned, the idea of a wide, long and very spacious car goes, but this car is in the category of A-class cars and you expect a very big car. It should not be too luxurious with a cabin. Of course, the Benz CLA 200 is in the category of small luxury cars and is unrivaled in the competition, but it is not unrivaled.
It is interesting to know that according to our research, after the production of Benz CLA 200, three times due to technical problems such as; Airbag, engine wiring and camshaft were called. However, a prestigious and big name like Mercedes-Benz is behind this car that pierces one’s heart. Now we go into the Benz CLA 200, keyless entry is the first positive point. When you sit in the car, a small 7-inch monitor shows up in front of you, which is not very attractive. However, the 3-spoke steering wheel of a dashboard compatible with the center console and of course the beautiful ventilation vents give you a very pleasant feeling. We open the switch and in front of us a private kilometer screen illuminates in monochrome. Behind the steering wheel there is a gear shift pedal that the driver can increase or decrease the gear without taking his hand off the steering wheel (in manual mode) ).
On the left side of the driver, in addition to the glass lift keys, there are also driver seat adjustment keys that can be easily adjusted in 6 directions. Also, next to these keys, there are 3 seat adjustment memory keys for 3 specific modes. There is no gear lever in the center console. Instead, a rotary switch is used to change the driving mode. The front space is also great for the occupants, but the rear space is a bit small and narrow, which is not suitable for tall and large people. Now it is the turn of the Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 to start and move.
When we start, we hear the soft and pleasant sound of a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine. We put the gear in the drive mode, you press the accelerator pedal, the little monster inside this small Benz CLA 200 coupe is activated and it will take you to a speed of 100 km / h very soon. But you should not expect very, very good acceleration as much as the Benz SLS. Considering the engine and its weight of 1500 kg, it is a good acceleration. The acceleration test that we took in the Benz CLA 200 review; It took about 8.3 seconds for the car to reach a top speed of 100 km / h from standstill.
It is very interesting to know that this car is designed so beautifully that in addition to its attractive appearance, it has excellent handling and steering, and of course, an excellent braking system. The head of each turn worked well and of course it was first class when braking. Its low and low number of cylinders. This has reduced the fuel consumption of the Benz CLA 200.
